There may be several reasons why you are having trouble scanning the QR code. Please refer to the checklist below to easily solve the issue.
1. Is your phone compatible with eSIM?
First, check if your phone model is compatible with eSIM. If the phone is compatible but cannot be registered, make sure it is unlocked.
2. Are you connected to Wi-Fi?
You cannot install an eSIM without a Wi-Fi connection. For a stable installation, it is recommended to install the eSIM at home connected to Wi-Fi before your trip. For multi-country products, please check if the country you are in is included before installation.
3. If you have difficulty installing via QR code, try installing manually.
If the installation does not work with the QR code, you can install it manually. Supera Link sends a manual code along with the QR code via email. Tap 'Enter details manually' at the bottom of the QR code scan screen and enter the manual code to install.
4. If installation is not possible, an eSIM may already be installed.
The eSIM QR code can only be scanned once. If you attempt to scan multiple times, you may receive a message saying 'Cannot add data plan'. It is possible that the eSIM has already been successfully installed. Please check if there is an eSIM on your phone in the SIM card manager/cellular settings. If the eSIM is not installed, please contact customer service.
5. If the eSIM QR code still doesn't work
