Messaging with a data-only BENOsim is simple, though the process varies depending on your device.

For iPhone users:
iMessage functions entirely through Wi-Fi or mobile data, making it ideal for data-only plans. Ensure your iMessage is linked to your Apple ID rather than your phone number. If messages aren't sending, a quick reset of iMessage settings may resolve the issue.

For Android users:
Android devices do not include a default internet-based messaging service like iMessage. However, there are many free or low-cost messaging apps—such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, or Facebook Messenger—that work over data connections. Simply download your preferred app from the Play Store and log in using your account credentials (typically linked to your phone number or email). Once set up, these apps allow you to send and receive texts, images, and more via your BENOsim data.
